Lensational was the official creative partner for the Autumn 2016 edition of the Affordable Art Fair Singapore, which ran from November 18-20. Attendance figures for the popular art event average about 13,000 and we were able to showcase a collection of images from Asia, including Bangladesh and Indonesia. We also conducted cyanotype workshops, a ‘camera-less’ photography process in which objects come into contact with light sensitive paper or another material coated in light a sensitive chemical to expose the outline of the shape of the object leaving a trace or an outline. Through the hands-on and experimental technique, participants were able to think about identity and self-representation. We were grateful to be able to speak to many people from the art world about our work and hope to be able to rejoin AAF at its other global events in the future!
